FAQ

Questions Every Senior Asks

Do I need to know coding to use AI? +
Absolutely not. AI tools like ChatGPT and Google Gemini are designed to work in plain English (or Hindi, Marathi, and other Indian languages). You just type your question normally, just as you would ask another person. Zero coding is ever needed at any level of our program.
How much time do I need every day? +
Level 1 requires 30-45 minutes daily. Levels 2 and 3 need 45-60 minutes daily. Because this is entirely self-paced, you choose your own schedule. Morning tea time, after-lunch, evenings - whatever suits you. There are no fixed timings and no classes to attend. You simply do the exercise when you are ready.
Is AI safe? Can it steal my personal data? +
AI tools from reputable companies (Google, Microsoft, OpenAI) are safe to use for professional work. The simple rule is: never enter your bank account numbers, passwords, or Aadhaar number into any AI tool. We teach an AI Safety Guide in Level 1 so you always know what to share and what not to share.
I am 65 years old. Am I too old to learn AI? +
Our founder, Umesh Prabhu, started learning AI at age 70 and now teaches it at 75. We have students in their late 60s and 70s who are now actively using AI for consulting work. The question is not about age - it is about willingness. If you are willing to practice 30 minutes a day, you will succeed.
What devices do I need? +
You need any smartphone (Android or iPhone) or any laptop or desktop computer. A basic data connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) is sufficient. You do not need to buy any special hardware or software - all the AI tools we use are free or very low cost.
What language are the sessions in? +
All training materials and exercises are delivered primarily in English, written clearly and simply. Umesh is comfortable explaining concepts in Hindi and Marathi when you contact him on WhatsApp. AI tools themselves can work in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, and most Indian languages.
Will I actually be able to earn money after this? +
The program teaches real skills that employers and businesses value. Many of our Level 3 graduates have found consulting or part-time advisory work within a few months. However, income results vary by person, effort, and networking. We guarantee that you will gain genuine skills and confidence - income depends on how you apply them.
Can younger professionals join? +
Yes - younger professionals are welcome. Our program is designed primarily for seniors, which means it is thorough, patient, and focused on practical application rather than speed. Many younger professionals find this depth especially valuable. As Umesh says: "What is good for seniors is a booster for everyone."
What is the best AI course for retired professionals in India? +
AI4Seniors offers a three-level workbook series (Levels 1, 2 and 3) designed exclusively for retired managers, directors, teachers, judges, doctors and government officers in India. The program is self-paced, no-coding, and supported personally by mentor Umesh Prabhu on WhatsApp.
Can I earn money using AI after retirement? +
Yes. Many AI4Seniors Level 3 graduates take up consulting or part-time advisory work using AI plus their decades of experience. Income depends on your effort, network and area of expertise - but the skills are real and in demand.
What is ChatGPT and how do seniors use it? +
ChatGPT is a free AI tool from OpenAI. Seniors use it to write letters and emails, summarise long documents, plan travel, learn new topics, draft reports and answer questions - all by typing or speaking in plain English, Hindi or Marathi.
How is AI4Seniors different from other AI courses? +
AI4Seniors is built only for retired and senior professionals. It is patient, jargon-free, self-paced, includes printed workbooks, requires no coding, and is mentored personally by 75-year-old founder Umesh Prabhu on WhatsApp.
